Beca para realizar el doctorado
The Class of Language of the Graduate School Language & Literature Munich is inviting applications for PhD-places starting the forthcoming summer semester 2023.
Within the current application round, the Class of Language invites applications for regular programme places (without funding) as well as for one PhD-scholarship within the Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) of the DAAD.
Deadline for applications in both cases: December 11, 2022.
The scholarship is aimed at excellent international applicants who will have lived in Germany for no longer than 15 months by February 2023 and have a good knowledge of German (B2 level). (See guidelines and restrictions)
Within the Class of Language, doctoral students enjoy excellent conditions in an interdisciplinary environment with around 50 participants working on a broad variety of linguistic topics. The programme is research oriented and has a systematically structured interdisciplinary curriculum. It offers an individual and intensive advisory programme for doctoral candidates, international guest-speakers, financial support for international research projects as well as a variety of courses to strengthen personal and analytical skills. Double-degrees within the framework of 'Cotutelle de Thèse' are supported.
Requirements for a successful application, both for the scholarship and for the regular programme places, include an above-average first university degree in a linguistic subject, the willingness to actively participate in a structured doctoral programme, and a convincing project outline.
