--------
Many countries have a growing elderly population. This aging often leads to problems such as dementia, loss of cognitive abilities, physical isolation, and oral communication problems. In parallel, digital communication is experiencing significant growth, either through the Internet or through virtual voice assistants. For all these reasons, there is a need to simplify and improve communication with this group. The need for studies in computer linguistics is greater in languages other than English since they have fewer resources.
In this context, we would like to invite you to present your research in the Special Issue of Sustainability (JCR Impact Factor 2.576, ISSN 2071-1050) on “Sustainable Technology and Elderly Life”. This special issue compiles research on ways to facilitate digital communication (written or oral) with this population group. Especially Spanish, despite its number of speakers, has poor research in this regard, so we would appreciate contributions working with this language.
