Título:Teaching Language and Teaching Literature in Virtual Environments

With the continued growth of research on linguistic landscape in fields such as language and literature teaching and technology, interest in teaching in virtual environments has also been on the rise. Teaching in virtual environments are an attempt to apply different technology-based tools and programs in language classrooms in order to enhance the teaching of languages and literature; it also assists language teachers to improve their teaching.

This edited volume seeks to take up this call for a broad approach, both illuminating the potential of teaching and technology to address long-standing challenges in language and literature, and mobilizing research on teaching to expand the theoretical and methodological repertoires of teaching in virtual environments. We invite chapter proposals grounded in teaching and learning practice that address teaching languages and teaching literature in virtual environments. Recommended topics for submissions are:
- Literature teaching in virtual environments
- Language teaching in virtual environments
- Second language teaching in virtual environments
- Technology and language teaching
- Technology and literature teaching

Submission instructions

The editor welcomes proposal submissions by 30th May 2017. Proposals should contain the following information:
- Proposed chapter title
- Author name(s) and affiliation(s)
- 500-600 word chapter overview
- 50-100 word biography for each author

Proposals should be saved as a single Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), text (.txt), or .PDF file, and emailed as attachments to . Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by 20th June 2017.

This volume has been discussed in detail with an internationally reputable publisher. Following the selection of proposals, a full book proposal will be sent to the publisher. Upon acceptance, chapter authors will be sent detailed guidelines. Authors will be given approximately 6 months to contribute full chapters of circa 8,000 words. Chapters must be original, and should not be submitted for publication elsewhere. All chapters will be double-blind peer reviewed.
